Lite-FM peaks, funk pops, and Richard Nixon fades away. There are a few classics on this week’s countdown. But really, this one is more a tribute to a passing moment in time.
Many of the biggest hits on this week’s countdown are fleeting charms—songs that remain familiar but perhaps not quite timeless. Tunes that aren’t entirely disposable, but perhaps pleasantly dated like mustard yellow wallpaper, shag carpeting, and cars without seatbelts.
