This was fantastic, I learned so much about an artist I’d previously only ever associated with the Peanuts. It was great to hear some of his earlier music and that of the artists in the scene at the time. Thanks!

Thank you, Mark! Turns out he has a pretty deep catalogue from that pre-Peanuts decade!

You don’’t need any xmas albums, except for Guarldi.

And for what it's worth, I start spinning his stuff on Halloween and run it right on through New Year's!

This was just wonderful! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this - so full of amazing info! Guaraldi is a favourite of mine and I love his sound. Cast Your Fate To The Wind was one of the tunes that I love to this day! And who among us “boomers” didn’t adore his Peanuts score? Just brilliant! Thanks for the great post!

Thank you, Jill! I learned quite a bit myself. I wasn't aware of the Brubeck connection (and I'm a huge Brubeck fan) until I read up for this article. Cheers!

This was fantastic. Thank you! Dead at 47, though. Jesus.

Without a doubt, David.
